At Brightlane, we believe in the enduring quality of our travel equipment. We reject the notion of planned obsolescence and craft our luggage to be inherited. That is why every piece of Brightlane luggage is backed by our unconditional Lifetime Craftsmanship Guarantee.

What is Covered?

Our Lifetime Guarantee covers all functional aspects of your Brightlane product for the life of the product. This includes:

• Zippers and Closures: Malfunctioning zippers, broken pulls, and faulty clasps.
• Hardware: Broken telescoping handles, wheels, hinges, and TSA locks.
• Structural Integrity: Cracks in the polycarbonate shell that compromise functionality, or severe tearing of nylon/twill that affects the item's use.
• Stitching: Unraveling seams or failing thread on leather handles and bindings.

What is Not Covered?

We design our luggage to look better with miles on the clock, but this guarantee does not cover cosmetic wear and tear. Exclusions include:

• Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, scuffs, dents, stains, and normal patina development on leather components.
• Abuse and Neglect: Damage resulting from severe abuse, unauthorized modifications, or extreme conditions.
• Contents: Loss of or damage to personal items packed inside the luggage.
• Transit Damage: While we build our luggage to withstand the rigors of travel, catastrophic damage caused by airlines (e.g., luggage crushed by heavy machinery) is not covered as a manufacturing defect. However, we do offer subsidized repair services for airline-inflicted damage. We highly recommend filing a claim with the airline before leaving the airport.

How to Claim Your Warranty

If your Brightlane equipment requires repair, please follow these steps:

1. Gather your proof of purchase (order number or receipt) and clear photographs of the damage.
2. Contact our Concierge team at Sales@BRIGHTLANE.uk with your claim details.
3. Our artisans will assess the damage. If the repair is covered, we will send you a pre-paid shipping label to send the item to our London workshop.
4. We will expertly repair your item. If the item is deemed irreparable due to a manufacturing defect, we will replace it with a product of equal or greater value.
